Step 1: Launch iSpring QuizMaker 6

To start creating a quiz, you need to launch iSpring QuizMaker 6 from your desktop or the Start menu. You will see the welcome screen where you can choose to create a new quiz or open an existing one. You can also access some useful resources, such as tutorials, samples, and support.

Step 2: Choose a quiz type

Next, you need to choose a quiz type: graded or survey. A graded quiz is a test that evaluates learners' knowledge and assigns points for correct answers. A survey is a questionnaire that collects feedback or opinions from learners. You can also mix graded and survey questions in one quiz.

Step 3: Add questions

Now you can start adding questions to your quiz. To do that, click on the Question button on the toolbar and select a question type from the drop-down menu. You can choose from multiple choice, multiple response, true/false, fill in the blank, matching, sequence, numeric, hotspot, drag-and-drop, word bank, essay, likert scale, yes/no, and pick one or more questions.

For each question type, you need to enter the question text, possible answers, correct answer(s), points, feedback, and other options. You can also add images, audio, and video to your questions to make them more engaging and interactive.

Step 4: Customize design and settings

After adding all the questions to your quiz, you can customize its design and settings. To change the appearance of your quiz, go to the Slide View mode and select a theme from the gallery or create your own theme by adjusting the layout, colors, fonts, and backgrounds.

To configure the quiz settings, go to the Properties tab and select the Main or Question options. Here you can set up the quiz title, description, passing score, number of attempts, time limit, feedback options, branching scenarios, navigation buttons, and more.

Step 5: Preview and publish your quiz

The final step is to preview and publish your quiz. To preview your quiz, click on the Preview button on the toolbar and select one of the options: Current Slide, Entire Quiz, or Mobile Preview. You can check how your quiz looks and works on different devices and browsers.

To publish your quiz, click on the Publish button on the toolbar and select one of the options: Web (HTML5), LMS (SCORM), Word (for printing), or Email (for sending). You can also adjust some publishing settings, such as output folder, compression level, protection options, etc.

Congratulations! You have just created an online quiz with iSpring QuizMaker 6. You can now share it with your learners via a website or an LMS and track their results online.
